Stephen joined Stifel in 2013 as an Estate Planning Specialist in the Wealth Planning Department. Stephen serves as a resource to financial advisors and their clients in matters of estate planning, estate and gift tax planning, and estate and trust administration.

Prior to joining Stifel, Stephen was in private practice as an attorney. While guiding his clients through the estate planning process, Stephen gained valuable experience drafting estate planning documents, including wills, revocable living trusts, powers of attorney, and advance health care directives.

Stephen graduated from Saint Louis University with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He then received his Juris Doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law. Stephen is admitted to the bar in Missouri and Illinois. He holds the Series 7 (General Securities Representative) and 66 (Investment Advisor Representative) securities registrations, as well as his life, health, and variable insurance licenses (including long-term care).

Joe joined Stifel’s Wealth Planning Department in 2018 and is currently a Wealth Strategist. Joe provides tax planning support to financial advisors and their clients by reviewing and analyzing current tax situations and presenting tax planning concepts to help them make informed investing decisions.

Prior to joining Stifel, Joe worked in a private law practice in Illinois where he assisted clients with estate planning needs as well as the administration of trusts and estates. Additionally, Joe prepared personal, fiduciary, partnership, and estate tax returns, and represented clients before the IRS.

Joe graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor’s degree in Management - Entrepreneurship and received his law degree from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. Joe holds the Series 7 (General Securities Representative) and 66 (Investment Advisor Representative) registrations, as well as his life, health, and variable insurance licenses (including long-term care).
